RECOGNITION & CERTIFICATIONS
The International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB) is a competitive bodybuilding organization founded in 1946 by brothers Ben and Joe Weider and is the highest level of competitive bodybuilding in the world. Currently, the IFBB consists of seven different sub-divisions for different competitors (gender or weight), divided into 21 contests throughout the year.The current IFBB season begins with the FLEX Pro Championships on February 19 and concludes with Pro Florida Championships on December 10. The National Physique Committee is the premier amateur physique organization in the world. Since 1982, the top athletes in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, bikini and physique have started their careers in the NPC. Many of those athletes graduated to successful careers in the IFBB Professional League, a list that includes 24 Olympia and 38 Arnold Classic winners.NPC athletes are regularly featured in and on the covers of international publications such as FLEX, Muscular Development, Muscle & Fitness and Muscle & Fitness Hers, Fitness Rx for Women, Ironman and Musclemag International. The Personal Trainers Association PROPTA / USPTA also know and the "Private Trainers Association" is one of the leading certifying bodies in the United States and worldwide for professional fitness and conditioning trainers. It was established in 1980 by noted bodybuilder and Mr. USA title holder Joe antouri, and is based in Los Angeles, California.
After more than a quarter century in the world of fitness as a competitor, personal trainer, and a nutritional Spaecialist, he created an organization consisting entirely of Professional Athletes from all sports, -- the educational and practical pioneers of training and nutrition-to examine, test, and certify the fitness industry’s elite personal trainers.
